• Youth pastor gives everything to “Bike for the Light”
  

  Youth Pastor Johnny Kelley of Sunset Chapel AG in Miami, Florida, is selling all he owns in order to afford an extraordinary fundraiser for Speed the Light. He will begin a 10,000-mile bicycle journey in January 2009 that concludes in Orlando, Florida, in time for the 2009 General Council in August.

• Evangel students deliver more than 200 pairs of shoes to elementary students
  

  This year, instead of purchasing New Student Orientation shirts Evangel University (Springfield, Missouri) freshmen decided to use the funds to purchase new shoes for children at a nearby elementary school.

• Children’s Ministries Agency announces 2009 regional conferences
  

  In 2009, the national Children's Ministries Agency will host regional conferences in San Antonio, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; and St. Louis, Missouri.

• Pastor goes to new heights for "Up in the Air for Kids"
  

  Pastor Tom Reusch of First Assembly of God (Plainview, Texas) spent a week camped out on a 27-foot platform lift to raise money for BGMC through "Up in the Air for Kids."
